An accidental way in which things happen without planning is called luck. Or it is also been put as the circumstances that work for or against the individuals. A huge debate about the pre-determinism and human effort or free will also seek understanding of luck as a philosophy of life.
While parallel to being the centre of focus in this intellectual discourse, in our practical lives the concept of luck is majorly used as a trash bin of the failures of humans. Yes a mere trash bin. What we cant correct, complete or accept we throw it right in there. Here is an exempt from the list…Its all about bad luck here while you can work out the flip side of it to understand how we define the good luck.
Failure to work harder for something to achieve …bad luck
Failure to accept other people’s success…bad luck
Failure to win a position…bad luck
Failure to know your position…bad luck
Failure to create the opportunities…bad luck
Failure to bring the change…bad luck
Failure to pay the price of Change…bad luck
Failure to speak up against injustice…bad luck
Failure to elect the right person…bad luck
Failure to become the right person…bad luck
Failure to understand the consequences of bad choices…bad luck
Failure to educate oneself to make informed choices…bad luck
Failure to learn from what goes against you…bad luck
Failure to learn from what goes for you…bad luck
Failure to make…bad luck
Failure to be…bad luck
Failure to keep up trying…bad luck
Failure to go forward…bad luck
A justification to be failed…bad luck
A reason to to stop living and start moaning …bad luck
The list goes on and on and is as long as the history of failures itself.
As a matter of fact the relationship of failure and bad luck can not be denied. But the equation just needs to be flipped over. Indeed it’s not the bad luck which causes failure. Rather its the failure which is the only bad luck.
But the good news is that nothing as failure exists in reality. It’s just where you want to put a full stop.
