Pakistan’s Risk Surges to One-Year High Amid Global Turmoil

Pakistan is facing a visible threat of default on its debt, despite decreasing rate of terrorism and improvement in security situation. This massive bulk of debt is still pending. Repayment of this debt will get tougher if the borrowing will keep on increasing at the same reckless pace. And Pakistan will become bankrupt. Pakistan’s debt was $45 billion up to 2008. In five years of ppp govt it doubled. It means that they borrowed as much in five years as was borrowed in 60 years. Then came PMLN. They have borrowed as much as ppp govt up to now. That means they have borrowed in 3 years what ppp govt did in 5 years and what was borrowed in previous 60 years up to 2008. So effectively Pakistan’s debt has tripled since 2008 i.e. in the past eight years of democratic rule. Till March 2015 the total debt liabilities of the country stood at Rs 19,299.2 billion. PHOTO: AFP   The Punjab Assembly unanimously approved the Protection of Women Against Violence Bill, calling for an end to all criminalities against women, such as, domestic violence, acid attack, rape, psychological and economic abuse, stalking, and cyber-crimes. The 31 clauses of the new bill provide an efficient system for complaint registration and penalties for offenders.

سائرہ ظفر لفظ انصاف بولنے اور لکھنے میں جتنا آسان  ہے اُتنا اس لفظ کا عام زندگی میں استعمال  نہ صرف مشکل ہے بلکہ شاید ناممکن ہے۔آج پاکستان کا اٹھانوے فیصد میڈیا  صبح شام صرف انصاف انصاف کی رٹ لگائے ہوئےہےاقتدار میں بیٹھے ہوئے حکمران کہاں پیچھے اُن کی باتوں سے یہ لگتا ہے کہ ان کے اقتدار میں آنے کا مقصد صرف اور صرف انصاف کا لفظ کہنے کے لیے تھا۔جب بھی دیکھو سنو پڑھو تو ہر صاحب اقتدار کا صرف ایک ہی جملہ ہوتا ہے ہم چاہتے ہیں عوام کو انصاف ملے کیسے کب کس طرح کیوں  یہ سوال جب بھی اُن سے پوچھا جائے تو جواب میں سر نفی میں ہلا دیتے ہیں یا کہتے ہیں افسوس آپ سے  فضول سوال کی اُمید ہر گز نہیں تھی ہنسی آتی ہے مجھے حسرت انسان پر گناہ کرتا ہے خود،لعنت بھیجتا ہے شیطان پر مگر سوال یہ پیدا ہوتا ہے اس لفظ کا واضح اور بروقت استعمال کیسے ممکن ہو سکتاہے؟ یا  اس لفط کا استعمال صرف کاغذ قلم اور بولنے تک محدود رہ …
